How many of you have heard about the Cycle Against Suicide? It's an organisation dedicated to raising awareness about suicide and suicide prevention. Last May a motorcycle marshal died on the cycle in Donegal and that man was my relative. I'm exactly like the other suicide bloggers - I've been at rock bottom - but suicide has not left a hole in my heart. I'm just hoping to be another voice out here in the world wide web so that someone can be better informed or less alone. My intention is to post pros and links to help some people understand what it's like and where help is and to show other people they're not alone and there's still a way to a brighter place. I'm by no means the only person starting a blog like this just after the death of Robin Williams but he managed to fight the good fight for 63 years, that's the least you can do.
The other important thing I have to tell you is this - I have chosen to blog anonymously so that I can share my whole story publicly without effecting the lives of those around me.
